The first entry ?

So a little about me first, i’m currently an A2 student, in London, Ashbourne college, and study graphics, fine art, and english. (did media studies for a year, loved it !) But well, true love is art :) all forms of it are inclusive, illustrations, music, visual arts etc xx 

So, well, this blog is basically going to focus on art I see around me, what affects and inspires me, and also music and other significant features of my life, along with a very strong focus on new and upcoming art, and rising artists, also random artists that i stumble upon, and a lot of other random events and things that manage to inspire me (or just make me laugh).

Well, most blogs are about feelings etc, not that this wont be, but well basically, erm, get me a new set of oil paints OR  a new set of graphic fine liners and that would make me the happiest girl alive. Literally. So well, it is a blog about feelings ! Also, music, which has such a huge role to play in inspiring art work and just in daily life, music that matters, music that lifts you up on a sad day, music that makes you want to smile, well, that translates to THE BEATLES ! Yaayy ! Oh, must know fact about me, I’m a die-hard beatles fan, (the lennon side). 

Books as well really manage to get me thinking and provide a basis / concept for my drawings and illustrations sometimes, a really good plot can get me to produce stuff and be obsessed with it for days !. Erm, also, I’m strange. I do develop crushes on objects (non-living things) AND people I have never met in my life. For eg: I have a crush on a fluffy panda hat at the moment, and about people I’ve never met before, Ethan Bodnar, well just for putting together “The creative bag” - amazing book about graphic artists and illustrators. AND, Charles and Ray Eames ! - Purely for “The power of ten” - Must have a look at it !

Well, so that up above, was my first entry. YAYY ! Oh and a super big yayy for the design for this page, it’s so very me ! Im a constant doodler, in later entires that will be evident, my art is...expressive. My illustrations have a lot to do with random doodles I come up with, which I think are pretty cool.
