Breathe- the photo shoot.

So, below are pictures from the photoshoot that took place yesterday. It was for my graphics A2 project, just a tiny part of it, where my friends and I used the word "Breathe" and spelt it out, inspired by the post-it sent to John Lennon by Yoko ono, when he did not even know her, and was in a bad spot it in his life(The career and the personal life were both suffering). The post it was direct, and simple. BREATHE.

The graphics project is to design packaging for an artist/band you like. I obviously picked The beatles. So, these pictures being reference and potential album covers. Although a lot of photoshopping will be required. These are just a few behind-the-scenes and a few of the shots we got ! The idea was inspired by the work of Ryan Cox. His project was to get random people on the road to hold his masks and pose. I asked my friends to do it, and then I tried a few random people as well, but most of them thought I was crazy and probably would have stabbed me in the eye with a butter knife (if given the chance). Or at least they looked like they wanted to. But a few helped and were kind enough to stop and let me click a picture ! But, lesson learned, it is NOT easy to get random people to be spontaneous, have a little fun, be goofy and pose for you. I really wanted a fun and goofy one of a man in a suit, just to break the monotony of the "daily-work" cycle. But, guess not this time. I'm gonna keep trying though.
