Breathe.

So, how inspiring is the word breathe ? Very, I'd say. Well, like, go to think of it, its a simple process that we forget about and we panic and make decisions in the heat of the moment, say things we dont mean, do things we dont mean to, and if you just breathe, and take a moment to analyze what you're doing. Just watched "Lennon  naked" the film, about John Lennon, and it was pretty good, well a Lennon lover, so anything to do with him would be good, but yeah, no where close to 'across the universe', that film, was genius. Anyway, point being, Yoko sent John simple post-its in times of distress, that said "BREATHE", he dint even know her when she sent them, and she said the simplest word that made the most sense in his life at that point. Well, that did inspire an illustration of mine :) ! So to the right is a rough sketch of it. Also..the meaning. 1. To inhale and exhale air, especially when naturally and freely.- I know you're not mentally challenged, and do happen to know the meaning of breathe, just saying. Its one word, one function, so easy to carry out, yet we forget it in the midst of all the drama around us. What a shame.


So, this being the illustration (a mere rough basic 20 minute sketch) further inspired a 3D model. Well, I know its not a very clear picture, but I'm sorry for that ! Point being, I dint know how to save it from being used, the whole copyright issue is a bit too complicated for me to handle, hence I went with the easier option of taking an unclear picture. 

So yes, the chained angel with metal (trashy?) wings. Point also being, to focus on the environment and the hazards, as well as the original idea of being chained, of being chained and rooted to something you want to..need to break free from. Also, the barcode on the head, well I did not want it to be comical, but the basic thought process behind it was the idea of everything being bought. Your dignity, you as a person, your ideas, well, it's a dog-eat-dog world, agreed, but to sell away ?...Hence the barcode, giving it a price. If seen closely though it says "priceless" under it. Because that's the concept I was aiming for, some things cannot be bought, I mean, I am totally materialistic, but to an extent, when it comes down to feelings and self respect, and dignity, and your personal values, that's something that will never have a price. (Just in case any one was wondering, my smile can be bought ! Hint hint : MANOLO BLAHNIKS !..Just kidding..Or am I ?). xxxxxx

Ohhhhh. One last thing, super short and totally cool. I just got my John lennon glasses. I think they're amazing ! (Ignore my face in the picture, lets just concentrate on the glasses ?) I look like a dork. Oh dear.

But, hey ! THE GLASSES. I think they have a cool retro feel about them (Well obviously since they're the J.lennon ones) but yet, they're not one of those cheaply designed and crafted ones, they're super comfortable too, and dont imitate his style entirely, they use a different plastic-ish material for the rims and the frame, instead of the metal that frames the original John Lennon glasses. So it's a little different, yet identifies to the trend Lennon did not even know he started.
